Since the inaugural virtual race in 2020, which brought together over 20,000 participants in the U.S. alone, we are thrilled to unite runners across the globe again. This year, we continue our mission to bring communities together while supporting Feeding America.
About Bimbo Global Race
The Bimbo Global Race welcomes everyone: competitive runners, casual walkers, families, friends, and joggers. It’s a truly global event, bringing people together from 23 countries. In 2016, we set a Guinness World Record for the most 10K races held simultaneously worldwide. In 2023, we continue to promote a healthy, active lifestyle while giving back to those in need. How It Works
Participating in the Bimbo Global Race is simple:
- Select Your Distance: Choose between a 10K (6.2 miles) or 5K (3.1 miles).
- Register: Sign up before September 22nd to receive your digital runner’s bib.
- Train: Prepare for your race day.
- Run Your Race: Between September 23rd-29th, track your run using a running app.
- Submit Your Results: Upload your completed race by September 29th, 11:59pm PST.
- Celebrate: Download your finisher’s certificate and receive your participant pack and medal within 45 days post-race.

All virtual race finishers will receive a participant pack including:
- Global Race Drawstring Sport Bag
- Runners Headband
- Key Wallet
- Finishers Medal
- Finishers Certificate (available for immediate download post-race)

Giving Back
For every eligible 5K and 10K finisher, Bimbo Bakeries USA will donate two slices of bread to Feeding America, with a maximum donation of 200,000 slices. You Run, We Donate. Every step you take helps feed someone in need.
Important Details
- Where: Anywhere! Run outside on a trail or inside on a treadmill.
- When: Race week is September 23rd-29th. Choose any day during this week to complete your distance and submit your results.
- Registration Deadline: Register by midnight on September 22nd to participate.
