Who is Moderating the Vice Presidential Debate?
This pivotal debate will be moderated by Nora O’Donnell, anchor of CBS Evening News, and Margaret Brennan, host of Face the Nation. The moderators will guide the conversation between the candidates, diving into key issues and policies.
While it’s unclear whether the same rules from the September 10th Trump-Harris debate (such as muted mics or no contact with staff during commercials) will apply, the debate is expected to last 90 minutes.
When Is the Next Debate?
Currently, there are no additional debates scheduled before Election Day on November 5, 2024. While Kamala Harris has accepted a proposed debate on October 23rd hosted by CNN, former President Donald Trump has indicated that he might not participate, stating that voting will already be underway by then.
Note: Trump recently suggested at a rally that another debate is unlikely unless he’s “in the right mood,” making tonight’s Vice Presidential debate an even more important event for voters seeking clarity ahead of the election.
